About the Event

Please join us on National Tree Planting Day to plant the new generation of trees in Lagoon Creek Environmental reserve! Natural areas and environmental reserves are crucial for maintaining biodiversity. These plants will help provide habitats for a variety of plant and animal species, including many that are endangered or threatened.

 Native vegetation helps to support all the life in Australia as we know it, and helps to maintain our quality of life

 Native Flora: Play important and ecological and environmental roles as well as supporting local wildlife. We also have an incredible amount of biodiversity here in the subtropics, and a high number of endemic species flora and fauna not found anywhere else in the world. Some are ancient plant species and living fossils. Australias landscapes and natural history is unique. Healthy ecosystems provide invaluable services that benefit both nature and humans
